As everyone knows, my OpenPGP key has been compromised. In this blog post, I will sort everything out:
- Ownership of the Free Software Chinese Site (自由软件中文网, https://freeswzhcn.codeberg.page/), along with its affiliated project, the Free Software Chinese Community (自由软件中文社区, https://freeswzhcnc.codeberg.page/), has been transferred to Zumfy (https://zumfy.codeberg.page/).
- The FSF40 community meetup that I will host in Harbin will still go ahead. However, the organiser details have been updated to reflect my new identity, Rebel Zhang rebel1725@autistici.org.
- My unofficial crDroid builds for the Xiaomi Mi 10S (wayne) will be discontinued. However, I may still build crDroid for my own device and, if so, start a new XDA thread to publish those builds.
Furthermore, you now have three options:
- Bid farewell: If you are unwilling to trust my new identity, we must part ways. I am reluctant to say goodbye, but all good things must come to an end. In my absence, may your journey through life be filled with fulfilment and joy.
- Continue: If you choose to trust my new identity, we may remain in contact. However, you are encouraged to verify my identity to some extent—for example, by checking my national identity card or meeting me in person. Please note that by accepting my new identity, you do so at your own risk.
- Treat it as someone else: You may also engage with “me” under the assumption that this new identity belongs to an entirely different individual, refusing to acknowledge any link with the former identity. This is the approach I adopted when someone named Hayden Wu claimed to be Peaksol — the identity that was compromised and revoked on 22 April 2025.
If I have missed anything, I will update this post accordingly.
